Early child development is very important. It is an effective social way of disappearing poverty and breaking the cycle of poverty. Since the Chinese economic reform began, Chinese government has made some significant improvements on child development. The Millennium Development Goals have been achieved in advance; poverty rate has dramatically decreased; transparency in education and nutrition care for children have been much improved. But at the same time there are unequal distribution of resources of child development in metropolitan areas and countries due to great wealth inequality caused by fast-paced industrialization and urbanization of China. Currently there is more than 20% of child population in poorest areas can’t afford the benefits because a lack of education and nutrition care.
